:: [ SVVS Dinner - Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate - February 2010 ] ::

We had returned to the Reigate Manor Hotel for the 2010 Annual SVVS Dinner and had also been very fortunate to obtain one of UK's greatest after-dinner speakers, Stuart Turner. Monte winning rally Navigator, Competitions Manager at  BMC during the Mini era, spells at  Motoring News and at Castrol, Competitions Manager at Ford during the Escort era, development of Mexicos and RS2000s, and and finally Director of Motosport Ford Europe with the Cosworths and R200s. In view of the Speaker and that Reigate Manor had provided a superb meal for a reasonable cost, we had the best ever record turnout of 126 people. Stuart had agreed to speak if we contributed the proceeds of our raffle to his charity 'The Motorsport Safety Fund'.  The raffle contributed some £400 to the fund. The speech by Stuart was absolutely brilliant and had us laughing fit to burst. He received a standing ovation !  This was the first Dinner presided over by the new Chairman Bozi Mohacek, ably assisted by Julie Mohacek.  The Photos below are by Daniel Mohacek.
