The Outwood show is a
popular village fete with many and varied attractions; the main hall being
set out with an impressive flower, vegetable and fruit show and
surrounding grounds filled with stalls and activities such as tombola,
arts & crafts, children's entertainment, games, tea, cakes & beer
plus a super brass band. On a pleasantly warm day, what more could you
want? Well, how about a few old vehicles to look at, and that's where we
come in. We had on show two Austin Seven's, a 1936 Opal two seater and a
1932 Special, a 1934 Morris 10/4 Tourer, a 1972 Lancia Fulvia coupe and
Morgan 4/4 dating from 2000. Organiser David Crittel and friends provided
an interesting display of BSA Bantam's of various ages and types which
stirred many memories for those of a certain age!
