The SVVS again displayed our
vintage and classic vehicles in the old Toll Tunnel above the Reigate Caves
in the support of the National Heritage Open Day Scheme. This is no
longer under the auspices of the Reigate Business Guild and it
seems the town in general is no longer putting much effort into the event. Our
20 vehicles did create interest in Tunnel Road, and
many thanks to all SVVS Members
who came. Bit of a dismal day but the rain did largely hold off. The
tunnel venue was shared with the Wealden Cave Society, who were
conducting tours of the
sand
caves below. |
