Skimmington Castle is
just off Reigate Heath with good beer and food.
Normally The Skim is one of our best outside meetings of the year and
parking can be at a premium. This time the weather was just right and our
turnout was very good. We had 36 proper vehicles. a few cars not seen
before , and a few not often seen. We therefore had no trouble in ensuring
that moderns kept to their half of the car park. especially as
the turnout of general public to the pub was lower than normal. It seems Covid aftereffects are still being
felt by general public but some
enthusiasm is returning to the SVVS. |
