:: [ S V V S Lunchtime Meeting - The Star, Lingfield - August 2017] :: The Star in Lingfield signals that the 'summer
season' is drawing to the end, which is a bit of a shame. The weather
can be iffy but this year it was almost on our side rather than against
us. The sky was a bit gray, the sun did not shine and it was anorak
summer's day cold. The attempt at rain was bit feeble. Net result
was a rather surprising turnout of some 22 proper vehicles and a number
of moderns. We have been coming to The Star now for some years and by
all accounts there were no significant grumbles about service or food. Photos were taken by
