The Treasure Hunt is a case of driving to a specified location,
parking, and walking to find the answers to clues defined on the questionnaire.
The first set of clues were to be found at the Tilburstow Hill viewing
point, which indeed does have a fantastic view.
The second set of clues were to be found in Church Lane, Old Godstone
(Saxon village of Wolcnested, later Walkingstead) including St Nicholas
Church, which was holding a service.
The third set of clues were to be found in Old
Oxted including the question of how many pubs are in that street.

The fourth set of clues were to be found around Godstone Green which was
at this time hosting the annual visiting Fun Fare.
The fifth set of clues were to be found around the Outwood Mill which
just happened to hosting a very serious swarm of buzzing bees cycle road race.
and the Treasure Hunt finished at the normal SVVS
Sunday Meeting at The Black Horse, Hookwood
