SVVS Lunchtime meeting - Red Barn, Lingfield

  :: [ SVVS Lunchtime meeting - Red Barn, Lingfield - February 2025 ] ::
New venue for this time of the year which used to be the Cock at Headley in the wild west. We thought we would try an experiment with having another earlier meeting at Red Barn in Blindley Heath as per last year, and found that the constant rain of the last five or so weeks had  created puddles even in their ample car park. So, not a brilliant turnout of proper cars at 15, as well as a number of moderns. Many members kicked tyres but the return home was quite early. We had 25 last year.

SVVS New Year's Meeting, Beehive, Reigate

:: [ New Year's Day Lunchtime - Beehive, Woodhatch - January 2025 ] ::
New Year's Eve 2025 was foretold as the armageddon which would cancel New Year Hogmonay in Edinburgh, bury all people in Scotland with snow and flood with water all that was left north of Watford. And the storm was to be named after the mighty bird 'Wren'. And all came to be as was foretold. Fortunately Chas managed on New Years day to avoid the falling trees was present within the pub record the 12 proper cars, including Doughty Renault, who braved the weather. Last year it was 32.
