Prescott 7.5 Steam Carriage
Another puzzling old grainy picture posted on a forum of old photos
asking for identification of the make of vehicles.
-- This is obviously
an American steam vehicle of which quite a variety were. Probably the
most well known are Stanley and Locomobile. It is actually very
difficult to tell them all apart at first glance so attention has to be
paid to the steam controls. This one has four taps above the valve
block and sight glass so New York made cca

Darracq 20'28 Chassis
Interesting historical photo received from Fraser Sloan (UK)
asking for identification of car, perhaps foreign due to number plate,
but equally it may have been some sort of trade plate as the Rootes
Motor Works placard at the back certainly gives the indications. --
In view of badge we initially looked at
Crossley but not a match. The only other similar widows peak
radiator/badge combination was cca
1907 Darracq; from the engine
configurations, it is probably a 20'28.
